9 Texts women send you and what they really mean
When women send a message they might not say what they really mean because they feel like you know them well enough to read between the lines. Before replying to her you need to think about what her message or emoji is really saying so you understand what she means.
1) Lol
Half the time she’s actually laughing at what you just said but the other half she’s faking it. If she only writes ‘Lol’ and nothing else then she’s faking it and doesn’t know what else to say to you. She’s hoping that what you say next will be better and that it’ll be something that she can reply to with a longer message.
2) Hey!
She means more than just ‘Hi.’, she’s in a good mood and wants your attention. Get ready for a long conversation but keep the mood light and fun so you don’t ruin things. Ask her what she’s doing then let her take control of the conversation because she wants to interact with you.
4) Embarrassed emoji
When she uses an embarrassed emoji it doesn’t really mean she’s embarrassed because if she was then she’d be more explicit about it. Using an emoji is playful and she likes what you said and is hoping you’ll keep going.
5) Do you wanna have dinner?
She wants more than dinner, she wants to spend time with you. If you’re friends then this could be her testing the waters to see if you’re the type of guy she wants to date and if you’re already dating then it means she wants a romantic dinner and possibly more.
6) Maybe later.
She’s either not interested in your or what you just suggested doing and is hoping that you won’t mention it again. This is a delay tactic and is a hint to you that the conversation is probably over. Be nice about it and tell her that’s fine then talk about something else.
7) We could go as a group!
She wants other people around to act as a buffer and to stop you from doing something embarrassing like asking her out or flirting with her.
8) Cool.
Vague replies like ‘Cool’ or ‘Awesome’ mean that what you just said was boring or stupid and she’s trying to be nice about it. Read your last message to see what was wrong with it and try to remember not to send similar messages in the future.
9) Happy face emoji
It takes two seconds to send this emoji which is why she’s using it instead of typing out an actual message. She’s distracted with something else and doesn’t have time for you right now. Don’t send her any more messages because she’s only going to glance at them.
10) Idk
Idk stands for ‘I don’t know.’ and women use this as a way of avoiding what you just said. You need to change the subject instead of trying to get her to open up because you’re going to end up annoying her if you don’t.
