Adicction to drugs is a powerful thing and dating someone who is dealing with this won’t be like your other relationships because there will be other issues to deal with. When you’re using adult dating sites to meet someone and you think they might have a drug addiction then you need to seriously think before starting a relationship with them.
1) Drugs come first
You won’t be able to talk them into quitting and you’re going to end up feeling unloved and unimportant because you know that you’re not enough for them.

There won’t be trust in the relationship because you’ll be wondering where they are and what they’re doing when they’re not with you. You’ll see them say one thing, like that they’re trying to stop using, but see them do the complete opposite, such as taking drugs and not caring what you think.

They’ll lie about how much drugs they take, how it’s not a problem and where they’re going as well as who they’re spending time with. Drugs make you act in a way that you normally wouldn’t and that could lead to them engaging in risky behaviour like having unprotected sex with strangers or spending time with dangerous people. You’ll worry about them when they’re not with you and this could lead to fighting if you confront them with how you feel.
7) There might be multiple addictions
People with an addictive personality may have addictions to multiple substances. You might think they’re only addicted to one type of drug but they might occasionally take others or they could have other addictions like alcohol or gambling. You won’t know what their other issues are until you get to know them better so you could end up over your head.
