The 7 most common flirting styles
There are different styles of flirting, there’s fast flirting and there’s playing hard to get. Women tend to stick to one or two styles that they feel comfortable with so you need to learn flirting signs so you can pick up on the cues she’s sending to you.
1) Fast flirting
This is when a confident woman knows she wants you and isn’t shy about letting you know it. She’ll be close to you physically, she’ll make comments or jokes about needing a man or about how good you are in bed. She gets right to the point and you’ll know straight away that she’s interested in you.
2) Physical flirting
Touching someone shows an intimacy and some women may use physical gestures to tell a man that she’s attracted to him. She’ll sit close enough to you so that your bodies touch, she’ll touch your hand when she’s talking to you and she’ll find reasons to spend more time around you. She’s trying to make a connection with you and this is how she feels comfortable doing it.
3) Shy flirting
Women that are shy make it harder for people to know what they’re feeling so you need to pay attention to how she acts around you. She might blush when she’s talking to you or try to distract herself by playing with her hair or the hem of her shirt. If she acts differently around you than she does with other people then it’s probably because her feelings for you are different.
4) Playful flirting
It can be scary flirting with a guy if you don’t know whether or not he’s interested in you. Playful flirting lets a woman show she’s interested in you without making a commitment. She’ll joke about going out with you or about what a great girlfriend she’d be and won’t make any serious moves to you. This is way if she gets rejected then she can always say that she was just joking and didn’t mean it.
5) Hard to get flirting
Some women like to give men a challenge and to show them that they need to make an effort for her. She’ll flirt with you by acting like she wants you to ask her out and as soon as things get too serious between the two of you she’ll back off. She’ll act distracted so you have to work at getting her attention back by flirting with her. After a while she’ll go back to smiling and acting friendly with you and this will go on until she feels like you’ve earned her time.
6) Flattery flirting
Flattery makes everyone feel good about themselves and women will give compliments to men they like. They’ll tell him that he did a good job with something or they’ll make a comment on how nice his shirt is. Doing this will make you want to be around her and she’ll know that’s the way to get your attention.
7) Coy flirting
This is one of the most subtle flirting signs and women who prefer an old fashioned way of dating will use this one. She wants you to make the first move instead of her so she’ll drop hints about being single and not having any plans for the weekend. She won’t be too direct and will act happily surprised when you do ask her out.
